The Engine Room: Volume 3
January 2026
Happy New Year to you all.
If you are UK based, chances are you have had some snow, and riding motorbikes will be on the back burner for now……
If you are outside the UK, we’re sure the weather conditions will vary wildly!!
In between eating and drinking over the festive period, the team at Mac have been busy and grasped the opportunity to crack on with the multitude of tasks we have on our list.
HQ Update:
We’ve been sharing our progress on social media, but we are pleased to report (hot off the press), that we ONLY have one bay of insulation to go, then the 250sq meters of roof will be insulated and boarded – a BIG thank you to various family members for helping to get this done!!
Our security system is operational and we’re now onto the first fix for the electrics (and trying to reign in an obsession with having plug sockets everywhere)!
The good news is that we are very much on track to welcome our customers to HQ for test rides in March.
Test Rides:
Everyone who has expressed an interest in test riding or purchasing a bike will have received a separate email before Christmas, so if you aren’t on the list yet, send us a message on social media, an email, or fill in the contact form on the website.
Supply Chain:
As per our last updates we are excited to tell you that our first batch of frames (VIN numbers 0-5) have been ordered, and materials are landing on a daily basis at Caged Laser.
Our wiring harnesses are being made by the team at SimTek and they’ve currently got one of our test bikes while they do the final fit-checks on wire lengths, connector positions etc.
We’ve given our engine build schedule to SWM and ordered our first five units.
The Team:
We are also excited to announce that Will has joined our team! Will is our Graduate Engineer and works on pretty much everything, but his main focus now is making sure our parts lists/orders all tally up and that our final tests are planned and completed.
You can read all about the rest of the team on our website.
Next Steps:
Keep an eye on our socials as we start to share more videos of the bikes and of course some riding footage once the roads have thawed.
We also have a YouTube channel where all our videos will be uploaded so head on over to like and subscribe.
Safe riding
Cheers
