Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question?
We might just have the answer, if you can’t see what you’re looking for below though make sure you get in touch with us.
Where are Mac bikes made?
We build our bikes from the ground up in the UK on the outskirts of Sunny Barnsley to be more precise.
Where are your parts from?
Where possible, we source parts from the UK:
- Our Engine is built by Italian firm SWM,
- Frames are built in Radstock near Bath (as are Radiators and Air Boxes),
- Wheels are built in the UK,
- Bodywork from Redditch UK,
- Electronics, Engine Controller and wiring Harness, all UK made
How do I get to test ride a bike?
As a small business, we are working on an appointment only basis – you can book your slot by completing the Contact Us form or emailing info@mac-motorcycles.com
I’d like to buy a Mac, what do I do?
Clearly you have great taste – Guide price for our bikes is £15,500 incl VAT depending upon the spec of your bike.
You can either book in to visit us to spec your bike, or we can do this remotely if you’d like.
Do you have motorbike dealers stocking the bikes?
No – you buy direct from the factory and all bikes are built to order.
What about servicing?
You can either bring the bike to Mac HQ and we’ll give it the TLC it needs, or you can use our mobile service (for a small additional charge). You’ll also be able to take your bike to one of our trusted independents who’ll look after you and your Mac.
Can I come and see my bike being built?
You’re absolutely welcome to come and see your bike, we just need to plan this in advance to make sure the timing works for both of us.
Does it come with a warranty? And how does it work?
Your Mac comes with a 2-year warranty (T&Cs apply of course) – our aim is that you love riding and owning your Mac, so we go above and beyond to make sure that happens.
Can I service my bike myself and still maintain my warranty?
Contact us if you want to do this and we can chat how this would work
Do you offer finance?
Yes, details will be released shortly.
